Darwin trip 2004 Rather lengthy story about our recent trip to Darwin and surrounds. We travelled about every second day and vowed to stay over day rather than over night. Much more R & R in between. Sort of saved a few dollars on a day to day basis. As usual the cost of fuel was the highest part and sometimes we paid dearly for the pleasure of driving our wide brown country. There is certainly a lot of nothing in between stops. We met quite a few people and made some friends at the many parks we called home for a short while.
